Nurbek Achilov
Nurbek Achilov is a marketing researcher with more than 20 years of experience in research, analysis and marketing. For the last three years he was involved as in the analysis and development of regional economies and cities.
He took positions as a senior manager of Regional Investment Center “Ontustik”, a senior lecturer of marketing and management at the South-Kazakhstan State University and Advisor to the Director of the Turkestan Higher Agrarian College. He was consulting and organizing regional conferences and round tables with participation of the EBRD, ADB, G-Global institutions and other organizations in Shymkent city.
Annually, Nurbek is involved in online activities and marketing of the Silk Road Forum in Astana, Astana Economic Forum, World Trends Forum in Latvia, Annual Investment Meeting in Dubai and other events and meetings in Estonia, Belorussia and other countries.
He is a strong background and knowledge of economies and cities in Central Asia, CIS, Europe and Asia. His latest projects in ISPG include analysis of 50 cities of the CIS and Baltics and participation in the project about the 10 Global Risks.
He enjoys publishing papers and books about multiple issues of economy, education and science. As an analyst, he researches and develops strategies and projects. At present, he is also involved in consultation of foreign organization and companies about the region on topics of event organization, investment, export and market entry strategies.
